Can i earn money trading online

I have taken a trading account from ICICI direct recently but havent made a single rupee yet. Can i really earn money from the trading account trading shares online.

i had a free time of 7 hours daily i will try to trade online in these hours but dont know how much money can i make by trading this method.

I am a student from india who was trying to make money. One of my friend told that we can make huge money using share market, Is it possible. If yes then how can i make money using share market. I had trading account in state bak of india and ICICI bank, Can i make moneu from them buying shares.
